Whilst staying here, you are free to fish the River Eden between the town's main Bridge and the Holme Farm Bridge - click here for an aerial view of this section of the river.

There are several local angling clubs with options for day visitors, Appleby Angling Association allows for further fishing in and around the town; Kirkby Stephen and District Angling Association's site is also worth a visit .  Other club links are to be found on the Go Wild site below.
